Whatever the outcome, this is going to be one hell of a match. Years in the making. Smack talk from both sides on who are the real fighters has been ongoing. In a few short months, it’ll be time to walk the talk.
The campaign alone is going to be entertaining. When it’s a Mayweather fight, the circus comes to town. McGregor fights are full of loud trash talk and can he is known to hold a mic.
But don’t for a second think McGregor is getting the short end of the stick here. McGregor is making bank, North of 100 Millon. Not counting endorsements. Also, Mcgregor agreed to the date for the fight because it falls after his Reebok contract ends. On top of that McGregor is fighting Mayweather in a separate promotion from the UFC, so he’s not bound to the promotion’s exclusive clothing deal with Reebok.
